Profile
This website covers my CV for all occasions. Even for those cases when I do not have a lot of valuable experience.
Work experience
- C#, Docker, and related product work.
- Creating digital solutions for freelance clients and partner organizations.
- WordPress, LAMP stack, next.js and related tooling.
- Co-founded a Facebook community born out of an observed social media phenomenon. During the severe Lithuanian drought of 2018, a large gardening group's feed became overwhelmed with members posting real-time rain updates from their locations — creating debates, fuelling the algorithm, and pushing out the group's original content. Recognising both the problem and the community's genuine need, co-founded a dedicated group to house this content and publicly rallied members of the original group to join.
- The group grew organically to over 8,000 active members from across Lithuania, becoming a go-to space for real-time precipitation reports and community spirit around weather events. Responsibilities included ongoing community administration, audience engagement, content creation, and graphic design. The group's reach attracted external interest, including a collaboration with Gismeteo, a major meteorological media platform.
- A long-running side project that demonstrated an ability to spot behavioural patterns in online communities, act on them creatively, and build something lasting from a running joke between friends.
- Led the development and delivery of the festival’s activity programme on behalf of the youth cultural NGO Kylantis Kaunas.
- Managed and supported a team of six volunteer coordinators seeking practical experience in cultural event production, providing regular guidance, problem-solving support, and oversight throughout the six-month planning process.
- Curated a programme comprising 14 unique events and four tours and excursions, coordinating activities from initial concept development through to delivery.
- Organised biweekly team meetings, monitored progress, identified support needs, and ensured coordinators had the resources and information required to work independently.
- Prepared a project funding application for Kaunas City Municipality and contributed to securing financial support, partnerships, sponsorship arrangements, and in-kind contributions.
- Collaborated with the curators of the festival’s music and arts programmes to identify opportunities for cross-programme cooperation and develop a cohesive visitor experience.
- Represented and promoted the activity programme through filmed promotional content, radio appearances, partner communications, and other public-facing initiatives.
- Coordinated programme communication with the festival’s communications team, balancing the individual needs of event organisers and coordinators with the festival’s overall communication strategy.
- Managed partner and stakeholder relationships, negotiated practical arrangements, and resolved operational challenges during the final stages of programme preparation and implementation.
- Skills: Event organizing, After Effects, and related production tools.
- Skills: Adobe InDesign, Adobe Lightroom, and related creative workflow.
